Alchemist Guide
The Alchemist is a Half-Vampire with a peculiar affinity for alchemy. His Knowledge of the Alchemical Arts and Potion Brewing to his advantage. He uses that Knowledge to brew up flames to reduce foes to dust, water to heal, wind to enhance his allies and earth to summon Homunculi to assist him in his adventure to find the Red Stone as he heard tales of it's wonders. The reason for his pursuit of the stone eludes everyone, accept his closest ally, a tall Musketeer; but his lips are sealed. Perhaps, if you tag along with the Alchemist you may discover the reason he seeks the Red Stone; is it for vanity, to bring back a loved one, to become fully immortal and to destroy his human side or just simply to have as a trophy? Only way to get an idea about his intentions is to get inside his mind and take control, here's a good way to do so. When controlling him, you have free reign to use that control how you please, this is just a suggestion. Since his Knowledge isso vast, it will be his strength and how much of it you use determines how his potions turn out. It will also help the Homunculi to become more effective in battle.

Reasons: Stat build is setup the way it is because, since you have a strong and fast Homunculus fighting at your side you won't need a bunch of Health so I suggest getting that to 100 and leaving it. That will give you some durability incase Ignore misses an enemy or you end up drawing their aggression to yourself because of your (great) damage or, do to the build's layout, you and Ignore will be doing the same range of damage. Charisma is stopped at 150, so you have enough CP to cast 4~5 buffs in a row and still have some CP left to to an HP top off with Medical Liquid. It also will grant Vital Transfer a sizable about of Healing when you use it in an emergency situation. As for Knowledge, given that it's your maid stat that determines healing, damaging and Homunculus (overall) strength that should get the majority of your stat points. With all that said, you will want to boost Wisdom and Power for tset reasons. As for the Skill build, it's set up that way for the best outcome. Ignore first so he can power level you and so you don't have to get your potion bottles dirty. Explosion doubles as CP charger for buffs and actives and damage, but not enough to draw aggression to you. The skill build can be described as a gran prix, a race to see which one gets stronger, while taking pit stops here and there. But at the end of this race, it's a tie and they're both considered the winners.
Build Options based on choice of Active Skills: Half Vampire and Rising Current - This combination would be suitable for buffs, or infusions as Half Vampire increases Knowledge and Wisdom (buff strength and Elemental Resistance) while Rising Current further strengthens the buffs. Exploit Homunculous and Distrust - This is great for survivability. Distrust will increase the Alchemist's Elemental Resistances while Exploit Homunculous increases the same for your Homunculi as well as it's Defense. Distrust and Half Vampire - This will raise the Alchemist's survivability. Distrust greatly increases his Elemental Resistance while the Wisdom bonus from Half Vampire will further increase them. Half Vampire and Exploit Homunculous - This combination is better suited for more of a focus on your Homunculous. Giving it survivability while Half Vampire boosts your (chosen) infusion(s) that you more than likely cast on it. Exploit Homunculous and Rising Current - This one is very similar to the previous one (Half Vampire and Exploit Homunculous) it's just more focused on others rather than you and the Homunculi as Rising Current only focuses on strengthening your Infusion skills. Distrust and Rising Current - These actives are more of a balanced focus, Versitile if you will. With Distrusts making you more durable vs elements you can either increase your HP and CP (Zefiro) for even more durability, or increase your Magic Damage, Physical Damage or Movement/Attack Speed for an even further balance of your Alchemist.
*Alchemist's buffs do not stack with other Alchemist character buffs. Buffs last through dead and revival. **Choice is for you to make. (Spurt Flare for easy, 1 step area of effect. Outburst for more area of effect hits - Fling Ember required) ***Ignore Final Skill: Rage Burst (Area of Effect fire damage) ***Liam Final Skill: Guardians of Glory (Buffs you and Allies increasing Max HP, Defense and Magical Resistance for a short time) ***Cynthia Final Skill: Blessing of the Sacrifice (Cures Status Ailments, Heals HP and raises Resistance to Status Ailments) ╪ I think the translation is bad. Chrome suggests "Psychogenic". Seemed fitting and wanted to include the observation in the guide. ☺ONLY if you plan to cross train as Musketeer, Or for higher level gear/tset. Θ Your choice of Active Skill (Can only have 2 active at a time - All effective)
