I'm on the second part of this quest (gather 300 pieces) and I keep getting an error message in red letters when killing monsters that should drop the pieces: "A problem has occurred with the item information"

Is this something intended with the game so that stone pieces drop with less % or something? I remember them dropping more stones before. I still seem to get stones but once in a blue moon only, like, the first part (gather 200) was extremely difficult to achieve and I had to AoE mobs for hours to get 200.

I have a laptop with Linux on it and wanted to give RS a go.

I keep getting error 114 on Gameguard and can't seem to play the game due to that (using wine)

I read that this is a very common issue with Gameguard on emulated SOs and there isn't much to be done about it.

Has anyone found a solution to it or should I stop trying to play it on Linux?

I know it has to be something very simple that I'm overthinking. I opened my guild, Odins Ravens and I'm trying to set the storage up. Last time I messed with this was back on the original and I mean the games ORIGINAL server, K-2 I believe it was. I've tried about everything and can't get it to open to save my life. Help please?

Hoping a mod can respond to this and give some details around mitigation steps to be taken by L&K but TLDR.

On windows 11, GameGuard causes the application to crash with an access violation error (0xc0000005) and there doesn't seem to be away around it from the user/client side.

Phantasy Star Online 2 uses GameGuard and managed to resolve the issue, presumably with an updated version of GameGuard.

I am hoping to draw some attention to this so we can get the GameGaurd embedded within Redstone to be updated or dropped in favor of an AntiCheat that actually works on modern systems.

I believe the issue is when GG tries to access the kernel.

I have updated my computer to Windows 11 and now it wont run redstone, i have tried to run the game with other windows options and still it will log me in and then freeze and close the game,

i have tried run it as windows XP,7 and 8 all do the same.

I have reinstalled it and it still keeps doing that same thing just freezes after 30sec and shuts the game down

Is there anyway to reset the awakening skill or reset all skills (other than the lvl 100 - 150 reset or rebirth, since im far from 600)? I got the homunculus meister sub class (there is a lack of information about the alchemist awakening classes and for a returning player its quite confusing) and now im struggling to kill creatures.
